Cost of Living Allowances for Basic
Salaries under $150 per month
(i) Basic Salaries under $100 p.m.
to
Officers drawing revised monthly basic salaries of less than $100 will receive a high cost of living allowance equivalent to the current monthly rate of rehabilitation allowance less $30 per month from 1st January, 1947, 11th September, 1947, and the current monthly rate of rehabilitation allowance less $15 per month from 12th September, 1947, until further notice.
(ii) Basic Salaries of $100 p.m. & over but less than $150 p.m.
Officers drawing revised monthly basic salaries of $100 and over but less than $150 will receive a high cost of living allowance of $60 per month from 1st January, 1947, to 11th September, 1947, and a high cost of living allowance equivalent to the full current monthly rehabilitation allowance from 12th September, 1947 until further notice.
